Maintenance management for small factories

Never let your machines let you down again.

Breakdowns · Preventive maintenance · Calibration · Spare parts · Audit records

Your operator scans the QR sticker on the machine and picks the reason. You get the alert the moment they submit. Repairs, services and calibrations go on record as your team does them.

The Press Brake machine page in Factri Uptime on a phone, with a red Report a stoppage button

Scan the sticker with the normal phone camera and that machine's page opens: its checks, its calibration, and the red button to report a stoppage. No app, no training.

How it works

Set up in an afternoon

No installation, no scanner guns, no training sessions. The stickers and the phones your people already carry do the work.

  1. Step 1

    Bring your lines in

Create your workspace and upload a spreadsheet of your sites, areas and lines. Fifteen or twenty lines appear in seconds.

  2. Step 2

    Print and stick the labels

Print the QR labels from the browser, twelve to a page, and stick them on the machines. No special printer, no scanner gun.

  3. Step 3

    Scan, pick a reason, submit

The operator scans the label, picks a reason and submits. The manager gets an email at once, and a push alert if no one acts.

What you get

More than a stoppage log

The screenshots below are the real product, running. It is one story: a machine goes down, and the plant handles it end to end.

Alerts that reach someone

The moment an operator reports a stoppage, the alert goes out. If nobody acts, it moves up a ladder, tier by tier, until someone does. Who sits on each tier, how long that tier waits before it escalates, and whether a tier is on at all are all yours to set, per site. Each tier reaches its people by email and by push.

The escalation settings in Factri Uptime for Coimbatore Works. Three tiers: Shift Supervisor after 5 minutes, Maintenance Head after 15 minutes and Plant Head after 30 minutes, each with a tagged person and an on or off switch.

The whole team fixes it in one place

Every breakdown has one page. The team talks on it, tags each other by name, and picks who owns the fix. The operator's note, how long the line has been down and the whole conversation sit together. No group chat, nothing lost.

Maintenance, not only breakdowns

Daily and weekly machine checks arrive as a simple sheet on the phone. A tick, a reading, a note, filled in as the operator walks the machine. You write the checks on each machine yourself and set how often each one comes round. You see at a glance what is due and what is done, so the small jobs that prevent breakdowns actually happen.

Nine languages

The whole app works in English plus Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali and Punjabi. Your operator picks a language once and reads every screen in it. This is the language list, on an app already running in Hindi. The Beta tag means native speakers are still checking our wording. Nothing is missing behind it.

The Factri Uptime language picker open on a phone, over a menu already running in Hindi. The list shows nine languages, each written in its own script: English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Marathi, Gujarati, Bangla and Punjabi. Hindi is ticked, and the eight regional languages carry a Beta tag.

Connect your own AI

Your AI assistant can read your plant over one link you control. The link is an MCP endpoint (Model Context Protocol, the standard way an AI tool connects to an outside system), so Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot connect straight to it. It is read only, so the AI can look but never change or resolve anything. If you allow it, the AI can open a draft stoppage that a person at the plant still has to confirm. You can revoke the link any time.

And the rest of it

  • Unlimited users on every plan

Every operator, supervisor and manager, on the free plan too. You pay by plant size and storage, never by the number of people.

  • Push alerts, no app store

Notifications land on the phone, installed straight from the browser. Nothing to download.

  • Machines can log themselves

A PLC or gateway can open a draft stoppage through a webhook you can revoke, with the sensor's own timestamps.

  • Spare parts tracking

Track spare part stock, get a low stock alert before you run out, and see which parts each repair used.

  • Your data goes in and comes out

Bring your machine list in from a spreadsheet and take it back out as a CSV. Filter the stoppage history by site, line and date, then copy the summary out for any AI tool.

  • Coming soon Voice first logging

The operator speaks the reason instead of picking it from a list. We are building this now.

The Factri Uptime reliability screen. A table lists each machine with failures, MTBF, MTTR and availability. An Insights block below reads: Setup / Adjustment is 37% of downtime this period, and Sheet Metal Cutting Machine has the lowest uptime at 99.7% in the last 30 days.
Month end, without the spreadsheet. Failures, MTBF, MTTR and availability for every machine, from the stoppages your operators logged, with plain sentences underneath about what changed.

Audit readiness

Ready when the auditor comes

  • Calibration schedules per machine. Due soon and overdue badges, so nothing is missed.
  • Certificates photographed from the phone. The photo goes into private storage that only your plant can reach.
  • An append only trail. Records cannot be edited after the fact. A correction is a new record, and both stay visible.
  • The auditor reads it without you. The history is there to read. Nobody has to sit beside the auditor explaining a logbook.

For system integrators

The hierarchy is ISA-95 aligned: site, area, line, machine. Machines report over a webhook today, so Factri Uptime sits on top of the Unified Namespace you already build for your clients.
